Strangely, a minor league baseball team is using gimmicky marketing to attract fans. The Tuscon Padres, offspring of the Fathers of San Diego, are holding a Disco Night on June 8. I'm unsure as to what a Disco Night at a baseball game entails (Do they play with a disco ball? That would appear to harm the "integrity of the game.), but it is an excuse to wear absolutely hideous uniforms. They were long ago worn by the Tuscon Toros, inspired by the Astros' "Tequila Sunrise" jerseys, which were odd, but far less grotesque.
