Henry Miller: 'Tottenham Hotspur can not manage to overachieve' - Sports Mole

Last Updated: Friday, April 19, 2013 at 12:46 UK Spurs are pushing for a top-four finish in the Premier League, alongside London competitors Arsenal and Chelsea, but Miller thinks that the club do not have the economic means to keep a spot near the top of the table. "We have to remember we're speaking about Tottenham," Miller told talkSPORT. "They bat far above their means. Manchester United make 3 times our return. Strategy make two-and-a-half times our return and Man City and Chelsea make dual. "Today the game is all about money. It's about salaries and getting players and Spurs are batting much above their average. As things stand in the Premier League Spurs should not end more than fifth anyway as the funds suggest they should not, but they've before. "Apart from the that, everyone, and top three groups includes Arsenal, until they're at full power, struggle." Spurs are still in fifth place, two things adrift of Arsenal above them.
