With a lot of England covered in snow today, it doesn't feel as if Easter is just a week away and the Premier League period is approaching its climax. Andre Villas-Boas' first period at Tottenham Hotspur is visiting a detailed, and the team's success will go quite a distance to testing his influence in this first plan. Much of Villas-Boas' appeal lies in his youth, in the potential of what this skilled manager might obtain. For him to make the journey to that time, though, particular objectives for his staff need to be reached. How Tottenham end this season will go some way to understanding how soon they achieve them. Before the conclusion of the busy Christmas period, this writer discussed seven factors as to why Spurs are on the proper course under Villas-Boas. So much has occurred since then. Based on the North London side's form up to a few weeks ago, it was hard to fault the manager for much (he was manager of the month for December and February). Three straight (and within their character), worrying failures since that time has resulted in a pause for thought in many people's assessments of Villas-Boas. If Spurs experience still another late-season fall, how can he be viewed?
